Pergolas are wood structures that provide shade and add aesthetic appeal to your project. You can build your pergola out of cedar using regular dimensioned lumber (6×6 for posts, 2×10 for beams and 2×6 for rafters) or you can do a heavier type of pergolas using Douglas Fir or Hemlock Lumber. Some of our clients in Ottawa prefer the chunky look of 10×10 posts, 4×10 beams and rafters. Another type of pergola is a modern pergola with square edges and fancy metal brackets. Whatever your design preference is – we are here to help you build your pergola and deck project.
We also build sheds and cabanas. If you are looking for a completely finished roof we can help you design it and build it. We will do the right type of foundation, frame your roof, find a roofing contractor to do the roofing membrane or install roof shingles and then finish the interior of the roof and walls.
When building backyard sheds we install windows and doors and install all types of siding materials such as cedar siding, Ipe siding, Hardie board and LP composite siding. If you need a concrete pad poured for your shed – we can take care of that also. If your shed needs a professional design and a permit application – we have a designer on staff to take care of this process.
